WHO QUALIFIES TO BE A CCHLT HOMEOWNER?

Homes that are developed by the CCHLT are sold to individuals or families who earn between 80-120% of the area median income for Centre County, as set by the United States Housing and Urban Development department (HUD).  Homes that are developed by one of our partners will have income limits determined by those programs. (Generally, the range is 60-120%.)

WHAT IS AREA MEDIAN INCOME?

Area Median Income (AMI) is a region-based income estimate, ranked by family size, updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The chart, below shows the current AMI for 2023, by family size (1 person to 8 persons).
